Memorial Stadium got its first look at Indiana’s new quarterbacks added to the roster over the off-season. In their home debut, both Cameron Coffman, a junior college transfer, and Nate Sudfeld, a true freshman, did not fail to impress the home crowd. Sudfeld, who came in late into the game to replace Coffman who exited with a minor hip injury, helped his team come from a two-score deficit and get the lead with less than a minute left. The true freshman would see his late-game heroics falter as Ball State won in dramatic fashion on a last-second field goal.
