Great size, length, skills, jump, and shots.
Those words explain Cody Zeller well. He’s the high school senior who signed this year to play basketball at Indiana University (IU). In the High School All-American Game on March 30, Zeller showed his outstanding abilities scoring 10 points (5-of-6), three rebounds and three assists in his one- minute performance. It was a moment that made Hoosier fans look back to the glory years of IU basketball with nostalgia and sketch out another IU resurgence.
In the McDonald’s All-American game, Reggie Rankin of ESPN Recruiting compared Cody Zeller and Jeff Foster style of play.
“The future Hoosier and current Indiana Pacer have great size and the ability to area rebound on both ends of the floor,” Rankin said. “Both are also great glue guys in the post who always give great energy and effort every time they are on the floor”.
